Caymas offers secluded upscale homes and resort-style amenities

The Caymas area in East Naples has recently transformed into a residential haven of individual, upscale communities. Locals benefit from exclusive new homes and the ongoing construction of resort-style amenity centers. Near the heart of the area is the planned Caymas subdivision, a gated 780-acre enclave with secluded houses. “Caymas is an area that has land off 951 [Collier Boulevard]. The community is a very nice, very high-end area from the builder STOCK development,” says Barry Eisenberg, a Naples resident and seasoned Realtor with Premiere Plus Realty. Additional small communities have emerged, including luxury apartment complexes. The neighborhood has a CAP Index Crime Score of 1 out of 10, significantly lower than the national average of 4.

Luxury homes and new constructions in private developments

The Caymas development offers 10 home models with custom pools, spas and kitchen features. “The homes are by Pulte and Stock. It’s a beautiful community, and everything starts at a million and up,” Eisenberg says. Quiet nature preserves and artificial lakes are visible from most dwellings. Home sizes range from about 2,500 to just over 5,000 square feet. Residences in the luxury subdivision go for $1 million to $2.5 million, though homes with special upgrades may cost more. Just south of the Caymas development stands Seven Shores, another gated new home community containing about 400 homes. Each property is constructed by the national builder Toll Brothers. The upscale development provides four unique detached single-family models between 2,500 square feet and 3,700 square feet. Single-story attached villas are also available from 1,500 square feet to 1,800 square feet. Buyers can build from the ground up to personalize interior details. Seven Shores residences sell from $520,000 to $1.2 million. Sapphire Cove is a smaller subdivision with properties ranging from $675,000 to $1.5 million. Locals should expect to pay monthly HOA fees within these upscale communities.

The nearby Magic Masala Naples serves a wide selection of menu items, including extensive vegetarian options. To the south is a Publix location inside Naples Lakes Village Center. Across the boulevard stands a recently constructed plaza with a First Watch café and a Royal Scoop. Following the roadway for around 4 miles leads to more shopping and dining at Freedom Square and Tamiami Crossing. Fifth Avenue South, a top entertainment and shopping corridor, is within a 10-mile drive of most homes.

Outdoor activities range from pickleball to boating

The private Caymas development offers a kayak launch for boating on the lake and a dog park. The 18-acre clubhouse campus is scheduled for completion in 2026. The facility will include a fitness center, golf simulation technology and an outdoor pool. Seven Shores development has plans for an amenity center, resort-style pool, yoga room and courts for pickleball and tennis. Lely Resort Golf and Country Club is popular for it’s public courses around 5 miles away. Collier Boulevard connects residents to the marshes of Rookery Bay and beachy Marco Island; both destinations offer boating and other waterfront activities about 10 to 15 miles away.

Interstate 75 and Downtown Naples are within easy reach

Bicycle paths line Collier Boulevard, but most locals travel by car. The Physicians Regional Collier Boulevard location is to the south. The community is about 2 miles from Interstate 75. Commuters can reach Downtown Naples in around 10 miles. Southwest Florida International Airport is roughly a 30-mile drive from Caymas.

Severe weather is typical, but flooding risks are lower

Southwest Florida has a history of severe weather, including tropical storms and hurricanes. The Collier County Department of Public Safety oversees emergency management operations. “One thing about Caymas is that you don’t have to worry too much about the h-word, hurricanes. It’s too far from the coast to be in a flood zone,” Eisenberg says.
