The front entrance of Lely Resort stands out with its rows of palm trees, flower-filled front drive and galloping mustang statues that welcome every visitor to the sprawling community. “It’s a staple with those big mustangs,” says Michelle Jay, a Realtor with Concierge Realtor Group and Downing-Frye Realty who has lived in Naples for over 20 years. “People take pictures there and pose for quinceañeras. They have parking spots out front just for people to take pictures.” Lely Resort comprises individual subdivisions varying in price point, from rental condos to multimillion-dollar homes. These subdivisions are united by their access to two public golf courses and optional memberships to a private equity course and a community clubhouse. The resort’s five entrances lead to surrounding shopping centers, schools and hospitals, giving residents easy access to the rest of South Naples.

Condos at Olé and gated properties at The Classics Plantation Estates
Dozens of distinct subdivisions are inside Lely Resort. Olé is popular with families for its Village Center shops and community pool. “More and more people are moving here full-time,” Jay says. “I sold to a guy who’s here full-time with his daughter. They were just tickled because she’s in middle school, and he can host all her friends and cousins; they all come here to swim, play, and hang out.” The subdivision’s rainbow-colored condos and villas sell for $500,000 to $650,000. Mediterranean and Spanish Revival-inspired homes in subdivisions like Lely Island Estates range from $650,000 to $1 million. Similar style properties in gated subdivisions like The Classics Plantation Estates start at $1 million and can go up to $4 million for their extra security and proximity to The Classics golf course.
Lely Resort housing options include single family homes with well-manicured landscaping.

The Classics Country Club and The Players Club
Lely Resort has three on-site golf courses — The Classics Country Club, a private equity course, and the public Mustang and Flamingo Island courses. All homebuyers in Lely can opt for a membership to The Players Club and Spa, which has a resort-style pool complex, fitness room, spa, tennis courts and The Tiki Bar restaurant. “There are flags on the back of the chairs you can put up to get a towel or a drink. It’s like you’re on vacation, but you live here,” says Nina Burkhardt, a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Realty who has worked in Naples for over 20 years. In addition to its on-site recreation, Lely Resort is within 6 miles of Naples Botanical Garden and public parks such as East Naples Community Park and Sugden Regional Park. The community is about 10 miles from the beach at Lowdermilk Park and 20 miles from Vanderbilt Beach. This distance from the shore can protect the area from some seasonal flooding, but previous large storm surges like Hurricane Ian in 2022 still damaged the area.
Golfing is a way of life in Lely Resort, and residents can choose from three membership courses.
