The community is home to Poinciana Elementary School, part of the Collier County Public Schools system, which receives an A-minus grade from Niche. Students then often attend Pine Ridge Middle School before finishing at Barron Collier High School or Naples High School. All three schools earn an A grade from Niche.

The neighborhood is a golfer’s paradise, home to six unique clubs with private courses. Establishments like Wilderness Country Club and Royal Poinciana Golf Club have served local members for over 50 years. Hole-in-the-Wall Golf Club is one of the few courses in southwest Florida with no homes or condominiums lining the fairways, and is ranked as the number 70 course in the whole state.
