North Central Naples sits a few miles from the Gulf as a residential area surrounded by retail and outdoor recreation. "This community is good for an older population, but also families. The public schools are excellent," says Barry Eisenberg, a Naples resident and experienced Realtor with Premiere Plus Realty. While home prices in the city typically are higher than the rest of the nation, within the North Central Naples neighborhood, houses tend to sell for less than in the rest of the metropolitan area. North Central Naples is comprised of multiple residential subdivisions, many of which have tidy streets and front lawns.

Businesses on Airport-Pulling and Pine Ridge Roads

Airport-Pulling Road and Pine Ridge Road are populated with retail plazas featuring big-box stores like Home Depot, Lowe's Home Improvement and Best Buy. Children are zoned for highly rated school

Younger children may attend Osceola Elementary. Students living in the community's far northern section can enroll in Pelican Marsh Elementary, recognized as the second-highest ranked public elementary school in Collier County by Niche. Both elementary schools have A ratings from Niche. Students can advance to Pine Ridge Middle and Barron Collier High; Niche ranks both among the county's top public schools and gives them A ratings. The district offers Parental Choice, which allows locals to apply to schools outside of their residential zone; however, families must provide their own transportation to out-of-zone schools.

Many residents live in subdivisions with private amenities such as clubhouses, community pools, fitness centers and tennis courts. Traveling on C.A.T. and Interstate 75

The Collier Area Transit has bus routes along Pine Ridge Road and Airport-Pulling Road. However, much of Naples is car dependent. The neighborhood sits next to the Interstate 75 corridor, which is the primary route for travel both north and east. Physicians Regional - Pine Ridge offers 24-hour emergency care services. Southwest Florida International Airport provides commercial airline trips about 25 miles from the neighborhood.

"North Central Naples has several cultural things to do and art festivals," Eisenberg says. The Arts District showcases numerous galleries and studios, some of which offer public classes.
