At the same time, the community hosts events and activities for residents. “It’s easy to live here; we’re quiet.” says Nancy Bjork, a Realtor with John R. Wood Properties and a Reflection Lakes resident. “We’re close enough to everything but far enough away not to deal with seasonal traffic and crowds.”

The dues give residents cable TV, internet, landscaping services and access to Reflection Lakes’s clubhouse. Bjork says some houses were constructed in the mid-2000s, but newer builds are present. The neighborhood has also attracted a mix of retirees who live there part-time and families who live in the community year-round.

The clubhouse at Reflection Lakes has multiple amenities, including a pool, bocce court and a horseshoe-throwing pit. The community also organizes weekly events such as water aerobics classes, bingo and card tournaments. Bjork says events for children, such as Eager egg hunts, are also held. Green spaces near Reflection Lakes include the 7,200-acre Collier-Seminole State Park, which has miles of cycling trails, campsites and small boat launches. Picayune Strand State Forest has hiking and horseback riding trails as well as fishing and hunting spots. Golfing courses near the community include the 7,100-yard Rookery at Marco. The Links at Naples has night golf and organized tournaments and leagues. The neighborhood is 10 miles north of Marco Island and has several public beaches, a history museum and fishing areas.
Reflection Lakes has a few popular golf courses in the area, with 18-holes and driving ranges.
