The South Naples area is a few miles from the sprawling Lely Resort community, which has several public golf courses. “There’s a Players Club & Spa, three swimming pools, a tiki bar that is super popular on Friday and Saturday nights because there’s live music, a building just for mahjong and bridge and 13 tennis courts. There are social events all the time, and there are all kinds of wine tastings. It’s an active, social community. And it’s very pretty. The landscaping is immaculate,” says Susan DeMaagd, a Realtor with Downing Frye Realty, Inc. The Flamingo Island and Mustang courses are open to the public, while the Classics course, designed by PGA legend Gary Player, is for members only.
