Most residences have scenic backyard views of the numerous glistening lakes scattered throughout the neighborhood. Coach homes range between $350,000 and $450,000, while contemporary single-family homes sell from $600,000 to $850,000, depending on the number of bedrooms. The monthly HOA fee is around $156.

The Orchards has many opportunities for fun within the community, including tennis and basketball courts and a swimming pool. The adjacent clubhouse has a fitness center and spa. "There are water aerobics at the pool for people who want to do pool fitness," Huber says. "There's a low HOA fee, which is nice because while it may not have as much of resort-style amenities as a neighborhood like Bridgewater Bay, it has enough that allows people who live there full time to get what they want." Soccer players can lace up their cleats and head to the eight tournament-level fields at North Collier Regional Park. The 213-acre green space is around 2 miles from the neighborhood and serves as the recreation hub for the area. Other amenities include lighted baseball fields and a full-water park. And for those who enjoy the outdoors, there's a butterfly garden and a 2.5-mile walking trail that winds through scenic Florida wetlands and swamps. Tiburon Golf Club is across the street and features two 18-hole courses designed by golf legend Greg Norman. Vanderbilt Beach is under 6 miles away.

The Collier County School District serves the neighborhood and is ranked the fifth-best district in Florida, according to Niche. Pelican Marsh Elementary receives an A-minus rating and has been recognized as a Gold Level Model Positive Behavior Support school. Pine Ridge Middle School and Barron Collier High School also receive A ratings. Barron Collier High School offers numerous career academies in fields ranging from business and engineering to health sciences. First Baptist Academy is a highly rated private school.
