Jersey is near several larger towns while maintaining its rural, small-town feel. In addition to being so close to New Albany, it’s only 4 miles away from Johnstown. Route 161 goes right down the middle of the township, connecting it to Columbus. While the community mainly relies on cars to get around, bikes are common along major motorways in the summer as locals train for Pelatonia, a cycling nonprofit event hosted by the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center. Jersey is 10 miles from Ohio State Outpatient Care New Albany, and 17 miles from John Glenn Columbus International Airport.

Athletes play at Bevelhymer Park
Rocky Fork Metro Park is 1,069 acres of public outdoor space near Jersey. It sports various trails, including some reserved for horseback riding and biking.
