The Village Café is another popular option, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner from a menu that features a little bit of just about everything.

The New Bedford school district earns an overall rating of C-plus from Niche. Elizabeth Brooks Elementary earns a B-minus, Keith Middle earns a C and New Bedford High School earns a B-minus. Students at New Bedford High School can participate in any of over 25 school-sponsored clubs, and they have the opportunity to play more than 20 varsity-level sports. Alternatively, parents can avail themselves of some of the nation’s best private schools, including nearby Tabor Academy, which earns an A-plus from Niche.
