The town's wooded landscape shades the streets and provides residents with privacy and greenery. New Canaan's downtown offers residents spots to mingle, shop and eat, "It's a really quaint little town," says Julie Vanderblue, a Realtor with Higgins Group Real Estate. The town's school system, ranked No. 2 in the state by Niche, is one of the big draws for families looking to settle down in the area.
