Vibrant artistic hub
With its puppet parade, art galleries and abundance of restaurants serving weekend brunch, Westville has a pulse. Shady trees line residential and commercial streets in this New Haven neighborhood, and people walk out of their Tudor homes or 19th-century colonials to visit record stores, tattoo parlors and pizzerias in historic brick buildings. In the fall, people flock to Westville to watch the Bulldogs play at the Yale Bowl, and on warm weekends, they go to the farmers market at Edgewood Park. On Mother’s Day weekend, thousands flock to the area for an ArtWalk festival spanning three Westville blocks. It’s a lively, engaged community, 10 minutes from downtown and 45 minutes from Hartford.
You can feel like you're dining al fresco all year at the patio section at Camacho Garage.
