Behrman is a low-key spot on NOLA’s West Bank

Behrman is a residential neighborhood on the West Bank of the Mississippi River, part of the historic Algiers district of New Orleans. There’s a mix of single-family homes, duplexes and apartments along the community’s gridded streets, with everyday amenities, from the grocery store to outdoor spaces, just a short drive away. The Mississippi River Trail offers a spot for daily walks by the water, while access to major thoroughfares shortens commutes to the Central Business District and the rest of New Orleans’ East Bank.
