Avery Park is part of Coweta County Public Schools, which earns an A-minus rating on Niche. At Elm Street Elementary School, rated A-minus, each student is provided a Chromebook or iPad. In 2021, it was named a National Title I Distinguished School for sustained improvements in academic performance. Students may move on to Evans Middle School and Newnan High School, both rated B-plus. After sustaining significant damage during a 2021 tornado, the high school was demolished and replaced with a $110 million facility.
