That’s more cost-effective than nearby neighborhoods, such as Lake Redwine, where prices can reach $1.4 million. “It’s more to the lower end of the price spectrum in Newnan,” McInroe says. “And the homes are not very old. Avery Park is 4 miles away from Interstate 85, which takes drivers 45 miles to downtown Atlanta and 80 miles south to Columbus. “Newnan has the distinction of having three interstate entrances and exits, which makes it very popular for people who are commuting to Atlanta,” McInroe says. “It makes it very easy.” The Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is 30 miles north.
