In this neighborhood, residents can find an abundance of ranch-style and Cape Cod homes, many of which display Colonial Revival architecture, such as black shutters, brick exteriors and symmetrical massing. The streets here are lined with mature Virginia pine trees and crape myrtles, giving the area a shaded and natural atmosphere. Most homes feature paved driveways, attached garages and large, green front lawns and backyard space. Although the area is considered to be mostly car-dependent, locals can find a handful of well-maintained sidewalks along residential roads. Homes in this neighborhood can range in price from approximately $200,000 to $375,000, with a median property price of roughly $285,000.

Leadership Center at Norview High School
Primary school students in this area might attend Norview Elementary School, a C-minus-rated institution, for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten through fifth grade. It's a great place to relax, exercise, or simply enjoy nature,” Stallings says.

Shop and dine at nearby Southern Shopping Center
Residents can drive a mile north along Tidewater Drive to go shopping at the Southern Shopping Center, which features a Food Lion grocery store, Walmart Supercenter and Ross Dress for Less. Also in this shopping center are a number of restaurants and cafes, including Tealux Café, which serves an assortment of bubble tea options, and KPOT, a Korean barbecue and hot pot restaurant.
