The area is located next to the Lafayette River, which also offers residents waterfront living. “In North Meadowbrook, you’ll find the best of both worlds in a small town with a coastal feel,” says Louk.
From Cape Cods to colonials
This established neighborhood includes a lot of homes built during the 1960s, including condominiums ranging from $130,000 to about $190,000. Cape Cods with small manicured lawns, mature trees and decent-sized driveways can range from $250,000 up to the low $500,000s. Larger colonial homes with at least four bedrooms and woodsy yards can start in the mid-$300,000s and surge past $900,000.
Maury High's specialty center
