The Vineyards subdivision is a suburban neighborhood and one of the town's newer communities. Located in the northeast part of town, The Vineyards is surrounded by a serene backdrop of open farmland. "The Vineyards neighborhood is right across the street from Eastview Christian Church, which is a massive, probably at least 60,000-square-foot building, and Grove Elementary School, making it convenient for families," says Realtor Jaiden Snodgrass of RE/MAX Rising. Chiddix Junior High students get foundation in digital media literacy
Students in The Vineyards can attend Grove Elementary School, which has an A-minus Niche rating. From there, students may go to Chiddix Junior High School, which has a B-plus rating and offers practical arts classes such as digital media, where they learn web design and tools like photoshopping, picture, and audio editing. Older students can then enroll at Normal Community High School, which has an A rating.

While people have to travel to reach more established city parks, there are some recreational experiences within The Vineyards. One of the things people love is that they have access to Grove Elementary's recreational areas, Snodgrass says. Neighbors can and frequently do use the school's playgrounds, basketball courts, walking trail, baseball diamond, and soccer fields. The Eagle's Landing subdivision in the neighborhood's northeast corner also features a walking trail and a community lake.

Eastview Christian Church hosts weekly events
Eastview Christian Church hosts various events that cater to different community needs. The church's programming includes Single Mom’s Care Group, Young Adult Gathering, Celebrate Recovery and The Sewing Circle, which gathers twice a month to work on projects for local and global partners. Throughout the summer, the Bloomington campus of the church hosts a neighborhood cookout every Wednesday, featuring food and games.

The Vineyards is made up of two subdivisions — Silver Oak and Eagles Landing. Both subdivisions include single-family homes, townhouses and condos — many developed between the late 2000s to early 2010s. Architectural styles across the neighborhood include Neo-Colonial, Craftsman-style, modern farmhouse, ranch-style, and traditional homes. The median home price in the area is $419,750, but subdivision has a significant influence on price point.
Silver Oak makes up the southern portion of the community and Eagles Landing takes up the northeastern corner. Homes in Silver Oak have bigger yards, larger driveways and are situated around a lake.
