Suburban comforts meet urban amenities in Decatur Heights
Decatur Heights is a diverse suburb within walking distance of downtown Decatur, local schools, a nature preserve and neighborhood churches. A wide range of shopping and dining with international flair is just around the corner — including the first-ever Waffle House, which is now a museum. The neighborhood itself goes back to 1901, when its first cottages built. Outside the pedestrian way of life, and proximity to downtown, a big draw here is the schools, as the neighborhood is zoned to one of the most popular districts: City Schools of Decatur.
