In 1962, Congregation Beth Jacob was established on Lavista Road and turned Biltmore Acres into a hub for Atlanta's Orthodox Jewish residents. “Toco Hills has a diverse Jewish community, and it attracts people of all ages from all over,” says Fran Putney, a senior writer for Atlanta Jewish Times." “Young people in our community aren't leaving Atlanta for New York or Los Angeles now.
