For those not working in the business center, North Lindenhurst is no more than 5 miles away from several Long Island Rail Road train stations. While Lindenhurst is a small community with an ever-increasing population of 11,155 as of 2022, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, it is attractive due to its housing prices and accessibility to public transit and amenities.

Most of North Lindenhurst is part of the Lindenhurst Union Free School District, which receives an A from Niche. William Rall Elementary School is within walking distance of some residences.
