"We've got the Simmons Bank Arena, Dickey-Stephens [park], lots of breweries and restaurants and a community theater." Townhome and apartment buildings sit close to the Arkansas River, while the residential section, comprised of single-family houses, is further north. These residences are rich both in historical character and convenience, many within walking distance of parks and restaurants.

Overall, architectural styles comprise bungalow, Craftsman, shotgun and traditional. Many homes have garages and sit on lots that are about 1/8 acre, suitable for a garden or sitting area. Parks
Downtown Argenta is renowned for its six bridges that majestically silhouette the urban skyline. "Broadway Bridge is the most beautiful of them all," Caldwell says. "It was recently renovated." Main Street, Junction and Clinton Presidential Park bridges are all illuminated at night by thousands of high-efficiency LED lights, adding vibrant color to the landscape. The bridges connect North Little Rock with Downtown Little Rock. Junction Bridge not only offers some of the best views of the river, but it is also part of Riverfront Park, which links both sides of the Arkansas River Trail. The park stretches 33 acres across 11 blocks, with attractions that include everything from a history pavilion and amphitheater to a splash park and a nature center. Only a 1.3-mile drive on back streets, the William J. Clinton Library and Museum is a popular attraction offering interactive permanent exhibits, engaging temporary displays as well as educational and cultural programs and events. The William E. Clark Presidential Park Wetlands, a 13-acre stretch along the Arkansas River and adjacent to the Clinton Library, provides preservation of this vital ecosystem, with public access to conservation, tourism, educational, environmental and wildlife opportunities.
