Ranch styles under $200,000
A stroll along Harrisdale’s sidewalks takes people past grassy front lawns dotted with oaks and the occasional tall cypress tree. Driveways come with every home, most of which lead to a garage or carport. Even so, the roads are wide enough to allow street parking. The neighborhood is almost exclusively filled with ranch styles built between the 1950s and 1980s. These houses, with brick, stone or vinyl exteriors, are typically within 1,800 square feet. “They’re a little smaller but have big yards – big backyards,” Reyes says. Lot sizes average about 8,000 square feet. “Homes in that area run right below $200,000,” Reyes says. A three-to four-bedroom can range from $125,000 to $200,000.
