Downtown Odessa has a 4th of July Fandango every Independence Day that’s popular among the community. “Fandango is really big,” Herriage says. “Last year we had 35,000 people at that event. This will be the 26th year. We will have a car show, two stages with live entertainment, a children's area, and fireworks downtown.” Odessa also has a Christmas parade. “Several thousand people line the streets for the event,” Herriage says.
