A few blocks west on 42nd Street is Big Daddy's Grill and Bar, a family-owned establishment with western décor and local high school memorabilia. Big Daddy’s serves catfish, chicken and other southern favorites. "It's really good, and who doesn't love catfish?" Rosas says. The nearest public transportation is outside the neighborhood boundaries, with an EZ-Rider bus stop on Grandview Avenue and 52nd Street. Downtown Odessa is about a 5-mile drive from the neighborhood, straight down U.S. Highway 385 or south along Grandview Avenue to Business Loop 20. Midland International Space and Air Port is around 13 miles east, while Midland is about 21 miles away. The Odessa Regional Medical Center is 4 miles away from Scottsdale West.
