Convenient access to downtown Airpark is an affordable quant community.
Accessible price points in Airpark
Just 3.5 miles south of Oklahoma City, Airpark gives a sense of suburban seclusion with the city’s urban amenities never too far away. "While it hasn't grown as rapidly as some other neighborhoods nearby, the neighborhood is on an upward swing," says Denise Love, broker associate with Chamberlain Realty, who has been selling in the area for 12 years. The walkable neighborhood is conveniently located less than 7 miles from the city’s airport, the vibrant Wheeler District and Interstate 44. The midcentury homes in Airpark also allow potential buyers to renovate and make the homes their own and are a more affordable option compared to South Rotary Park, its neighbor to the north.
A walkable community with midcentury homes
Trees are sparsely scattered around Airpark’s homes, which typically sit on lots smaller than a quarter-acre. The neighborhood’s grid-like layout makes it easy for residents to navigate the narrow, unmarked streets. There are sidewalks in front of the mix of bungalows, split- levels, ranch homes, and occasional newly built houses in Airpark. Prices rarely climb above $200,000; if they do, the home is new or has been renovated. $120,000 to $180,000 is the range for the properties built in the 1940s and 50s that dominate the neighborhood. That price point is slightly more affordable than neighboring South Rotary Park and the Wheeler District, where homes can sell for more than $400,000.
Clean sidwalks and small family homes are the norm in Airpark.

Kids run around the playground while families and friends get together to play a match on the tennis court. There is also a basketball court and baseball field scattered around the grounds.
