Earth-toned homes in Fair Hills
Mature trees, neat garden beds and gently curved sidewalks punctuate the spacious front lawns of Fair Hills’ 1980s-era homes. Instead of perching on the landscape like sculptures, these properties blend into their surroundings. Many homes feature a mix of natural, earth-toned façades like wood, stone and brick. “It’s so unique, and it makes for a really pretty street,” Atkinson says. While most homes feature less interior square footage than some in surrounding areas, residents can still appreciate spacious lots and two to three bedrooms for between $190,000 and $300,000. “People like it here,” she continues. “Families with kids love the front yards, and the prices are reasonable compared to other neighborhoods in the area. When someone moves away, they’re just moving for a bigger house.”

Accessible thoroughfares within a mile
Fair Hills residents can enjoy easy access to nearby retail, dining and entertainment options thanks to nearby Kilpatrick Turnpike and Interstate 235. “With the interstate and the turnpike so close, you can get anywhere in Edmond or Oklahoma City in minutes,” Atkinson clarifies. “And even though Edmond is known for having lots of traffic, this part of the city is less traveled, so it doesn’t have the backups the rest of the area deals with.” Will Rogers World Airport is around 20 miles south via I-74, accessible from the turnpike. OKC’s Embark bus system offers stops close to the exit, along West Memorial Road and North Pennsylvania Avenue.
