Harvest Hills West
New construction inspired by classic Oklahoman ideals
Homes in Harvest Hills West are mostly traditional and Dallas style homes built in the early 2000s and beyond with builds inspired by classic Oklahoman style architecture with front porch pillars and farmhouse style shutters. “Harvest Hills West is great for people looking to get out of the urban core, people who are looking for a little more space to raise their families, and for homes that don’t require a lot of work to move into,” Hawkins says. For a Traditional-style home built in 2022 with farmhouse-inspired wooden shutters and a modern high-contrast exterior color palette, an open floorplan with airy cathedral ceilings and a chef’s kitchen, expect to pay around $320,000. But homes here range in price between $250,000 and $400,000. “There’s something for almost every budget here, whether you’re a first-time buyer or looking to upgrade from your first home,” Hawkins adds.High performing Oklahoma schools
Harvest Hills West students are served by schools in two highly rated districts: Piedmont Public Schools and Yukon Public Schools. Generally, Piedmont covers the northern half of the neighborhood, while Yukon covers the southern half, but with district boundaries subject to change, it’s important to verify ahead of registration.Students attending Yukon schools will go to Surrey Hills Elementary, Redstone Intermediate, Yukon Middle and Yukon High School, all four of which are highly rated by Niche, scoring grades of B and up. Piedmont students attend Stone Ridge Elementary, Piedmont Middle and Piedmont High, also all highly rated by Niche, scoring grades of B-plus or better. In April, 2024 voters approved a $113 million bond issue that will add an additional elementary and intermediate school. Additional upgrades are coming to the district’s band program, playgrounds and new bleachers at the Piedmont High football stadium.
