Neighboring Will Rogers World Airport
The small neighborhood of Lillard Park sits just south of the center of Oklahoma City and is bordered by some of OKC's busiest hotspots, most notably its next-door neighbor, Will Rogers World Airport. The southern portion of Lillard Park is mainly occupied by industrial warehouses and trucking facilities. As drivers make their way up Meridian Avenue, they pass thriving businesses and hotels before crossing the Oklahoma River into northwestern OKC.
Ranch-styles and bungalows in southwest OKC
Ranch-style homes and bungalows with vinyl siding line these gridded streets. Most homes in Lillard Park were built in the late 1940s and early 1950s. Whether they’re recently updated or need a little TLC before move-in, these properties are priced between $135,000 to $180,000. They often include carports big enough for a truck or SUV, as well as storm shelters. Square yards hold mature trees that have been trimmed down to size; metal and brick fences run alongside lit sidewalks.

Events filled with Oklahoman spirit
COWBOYS OKC sits on the commercial strip and offers a true dance hall experience, with a huge floor for two-stepping and both real and mechanical bull riding. Among the warehouse outcroppings is the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma headquarters and distribution center, where Oklahomans volunteer to pack meals year-round.
Flight noises and grocery distance
Because Lillard Park is so close to Will Rogers World Airport, the restaurant stretch is a pit stop for travelers staying in nearby hotels as much as it is a resource for residents. Noise and vibrations from planes flying overhead can be expected. In addition, residents can expect to travel 3 to 5 miles for most groceries.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data.
