You're going to have have a lot of like walkability and a lot of restaurants and bars, just right there in that pocket.”

Putnam City Schools
Students begin at Wiley Post Elementary School, rated C on Niche, moving on to Hefner Middle School and Putnam City North High School, rated B-minus and B, respectively. students have several ways to get involved in the school community, like joining the Academic team, where members test their scholarly knowledge against other schools in quiz bowl-type competitions. If residents of the Rock Knoll-Lansbrook area want even more green space than what’s in the neighborhood, they only have to venture two miles east to Lakeshore Park, which, as the name implies, sits on the west shore of big, beautiful Lake Hefner's sparkling waters. Lakeshore Park is a great place to kick around a soccer ball, take a long walk or watch the sunset over the water. More adventurous lakegoers can head over to the south side of Lake Hefner to try some kayaking, paddleboarding or sailing where a nine-mile walking trail takes visitors all around the lake. Nearby the Stars and Stripes skatepark is available for practicing kickflips, or dust off the old nine iron for a round on the public courses of Lake Hefner Golf Club.

Rock Knoll-Lansbrook sits just north of the Northwest Expressway a major thoroughfare with access to shopping and other prime destinations in Oklahoma. “Expressway is like the main road of Oklahoma City that can take you I mean, super far can take you all the way to Mustang, Yukon and Piedmont but it can also take you all the way to North Oklahoma City by the mall, and by you know, bigger shopping establishments,” Greene adds.
