With a mix of older and newer homes, the Southridge-Shadowlake neighborhood 13 miles southwest of Oklahoma City is a part of the OKC metro that’s growing. “It’s up-and-coming, mainly because of the proximity of the Amazon fulfillment center facilities by the airport,” says Shane Willard, a Realtor with Century 21 Goodyear Green with almost 20 years of experience selling in the Oklahoma City area. “Since the two facilities opened in 2019, new housing has been built, and many people here work at Amazon.” The proximity to the airport is a plus for people buying in the neighborhood. “I’ve sold to people who travel a lot and like living near the airport,” Willard says. “The great thing about the Oklahoma City area is that you can get across town in not much time. If you’re 30 minutes from downtown, you live a pretty good way out.”
