Stonebridge West boasts a convenient suburban lifestyle
Bridging the border between western Oklahoma City and eastern Yukon, overlooking Lake Overholser from across the Kilpatrick Turnpike, Stonebridge West is highly sought-after for its location. “Not only are you close to the turnpike, but you’re also right off Route 66, which is great,” says Realtor Brack Mosshart. The born-and-raised Yukon local notes: “You’re surrounded by a lot of local coffee shops, local restaurants, several grocery stores, everything you could need nearby.” But it’s not just a popular location for its convenience. Mosshart explains: “Yukon is a great place to raise a family. The area is growing like crazy but the atmosphere here is still peaceful.”

Closely spaced, Traditional-style homes line these winding residential streets. Most were built in the 1980s and 1990s and lawns bask in the shade of trees as established as the homes they tower over. Mosshart notes that Stonebridge enjoys a vintage feel, similar to nearby neighborhoods. “The houses have good bones and they’ve been well-maintained in every sense of the phrase. The original character of the neighborhood has been kept up over the years,” he explains. For a typical 1980s-era Traditional-style home with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and an attached two-car garage, you can expect to pay around $270,000. The full spectrum of home prices here fluctuates in a tight range between $225,000 and $275,000, which Mosshart observes speaks to the overall cohesion of the community. “There aren’t any houses here that stick out as either the sore thumb or the very obvious, huge new build,” he says, adding that “down-to-earth” would be a perfect descriptor for the neighborhood.
