Twin Oaks’ sunny enclaves
Sturdy homes, highly rated schools, proximity to parks and other amenities, and plenty of natural set dressing come together in the Twin Oaks neighborhood. "It has nice lots with mature trees, and it's in a great location in Edmond," says Janet Helms, Edmond native and Real Estate Advisor with Engel & Volkers Edmond. These well-trimmed subdivisions embody the appeal of living in the “Crown Jewel” of Oklahoma, just outside of Oklahoma City.

Established homes in Edmond
Those on their morning walk get a sense of balance as they meander through their neighborhood’s well-kept sidewalks and past tidy, spacious lawns. In Twin Oaks proper and other coveted subdivisions like Rush Brook, most homes are some variations of the Traditional house style with brick fronts and two-car garages. A mix of remodeled homes and others needing a little updating range in price from $225,000 to $400,000, which, according to Helms, is pretty reasonable for Edmond.
Meanwhile, nearby Barrington offers larger estates with nods to Tudor architecture and 4 bedrooms for a higher price point of $500,000 to $650,000. Homebuyers can up the ante even further in Mulholland, a gated, lakeside community of custom homes with grand French or Italianate flair. Homes in this private enclave sell for $765,000 to upwards of $1.4 million for waterfront properties.
