Suburban OKC community with lots to offer
While its well-maintained homes are admirable and its lovely mature trees are nothing to sneeze at, West Watch's prime location and sought-after school district are the main draws in this established neighborhood's list of highlights. "The neighborhood is conveniently located," says Sheila Oakley, Realtor and home stager with the Ken Oakley Group. "It's right off of I-40, so you're only about 30 minutes from anywhere you want to be in the Oklahoma City area, including the airport."
Mustang Public Schools
Students in West Watch attend Mustang Public Schools. Some youngsters begin at Mustang Creek Elementary School, rated A-minus on Niche, then move on to Mustang North Middle School and Mustang High School, rated A-minus and B-plus. At Mustang High, students can take advantage of the state-of-the-art performing arts center that also serves as a community venue. “The city of Mustang itself is pretty small, but the school district in Mustang extends quite a ways around it and it's actually got the third largest high school in the state,” says Jim Miller, Realtor with Keller Williams-Yukon. Miller notes that Mustang Schools were one of the first Oklahoma City suburbs to pursue a one building strategy at the high school level, with district leadership that allowed their schools to grow and meet the needs of the region it serves.
Students at Mustang Creek Elementary School are the number 1 priority to its faculty and staff.
