On the south side of the neighborhood, Woodruff Park features athletic courts and a splash pad. Less than a mile to the west, the 171-acre Grass Lake Nature Reserve has a popular walking trail and is home to a carefully maintained wetland ecosystem. Many residents go to the sound for boating or fishing — there are a number of marinas and boat launches in the area, including West Bay Marina just north of the neighborhood.U.S. Route 101
Harrison Avenue provides a direct route to downtown Olympia, while Division Street runs north-south through the neighborhood and connects to U.S. Route 101.
