World-class shopping and resorts close to traditional houses
Resort theme parks, rolling fairways and commercial centers define the landscape of Florida Center North, a sprawling residential and resort community just outside of Orlando. Much of the community grew around world-famous resort parks like Universal and Disney World, starting in the late 1900s and continuing into the 2000s with the construction of the Mall at Millenia.
Landscaped bungalows and updated condominiums close to local amenities
Golf communities and sprawling suburban tracts make up the residential landscape of the neighborhood. Various condominiums and townhouses are available in and around Metro West Golf Club, with spacious floor plans and scenic views of Metro West’s rolling fairways and serene forests. The neighborhood’s single-family houses feature similar natural scenery while sporting more distinctive architectural styles. Contemporary ranch-style houses have amenities such as large windows and covered carports. Two-story Craftsman-style houses feature asymmetrical facades with covered front porches looking out onto landscaped lawns. More affordable condos and townhouses are also available, with community amenities such as guaranteed parking and fitness centers. Most homes are less than 5 miles from the I-4 Express, which puts Downtown Orlando and Universal Studios less than 10 miles going north or south down I-4, respectively. Home prices in Florida Center North vary depending on home style, though as Florida in Motion Real Estate Agent Kim Hawk says, "compared to other places in the United States, this area and others in Orlando has a relatively low cost of living." Condominium prices range from $100,000 for apartment-style condos to $350,000 for luxury condos with more square footage. Regarding single-family houses and townhouses, a townhouse or ranch-style house needing some T.L.C. will cost around $229,000, ranging up to $$600,000 for updated contemporary houses.
