Breakaway Trails is served by Volusia County Schools. Kids may go to the nearby Pathways Elementary School, which earns an overall grade of B-plus from Niche, or the B-rated David C. Hinson Sr. Middle School on North Clyde Morris Boulevard. Teens attend Mainland High School, which also earns a B grade.
