Woodlawn
Home styles are an eclectic mix
Homes in the neighborhood are an eclectic mix of styles, including single-story bungalows, ranch-style houses, split levels, craftsmen and even a few New Traditional Tudors. Prices range between $139,000 and $478,000, and lot sizes vary depending on location, ranging from a quarter-acre to over an acre. This area also includes manufactured housing properties and senior living facilities, including Reynolds Senior Village on the south side.High school placed in state contest
Woodlawn is zoned for the McCracken County School District and Paducah Independent Schools District, both allowing enrolled students to change schools. Paducah Area Transit System bus stops are nearby but not in the community, so locals must use their cars for transportation.Dog parks and fairgrounds

Located to the east, Carson Park is known for its historic racetrack and sprawling fairgrounds.Go retro or have alligator tail

Chain restaurants like McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's and Waffle House are all within 3 miles. Kroger is nearby for grocery runs.BBQ on the River supports local charities
BBQ on the River takes place on the Ohio River and will celebrate 30 years in September 2024. At the annual fundraiser, local and out-of-town restaurants and barbecue enthusiasts prepare over 80,000 pounds of chicken and pork. All vendors must choose a charity to receive a portion of the proceeds. The riverfront festival has welcomed upwards of 50,000 visitors yearly for food, drinks and entertainment.
