An easy-going lifestyle on the Gulf of Mexico
Located near the opulent beach towns of Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach, Seacrest is an easy-going and effortlessly elegant beachfront village on the east end of Scenic Highway 30A. “People will tell you it’s casually upscale,” says Lisa Brown, a Realtor with The Premier Property Group Seacrest Office. “For owners, the value of owning a home is high because it sits (close to) Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach.” Immaculate beaches, classic Florida architecture and laid-back living invite homeowners to take a step back from the hustle and bustle and relax. Biking is essential to life along 30A, and there's plenty of peddling to be done in and around Seacrest. Bikers can peddle their way up and down the road and visit the unique towns and villages that dot 30A.

Locals and visitors alike stop to snap a picture in front of the gargantuan lifeguard chair in front of the neighborhood. Golfers can also enjoy tee time at Camp Creek Course, a private golf course in WaterSound.

Iconic Florida architecture
The majority of Seacrest homeowners do not live there full-time and instead use their properties as second homes, vacation homes and short-term rentals. Classic Florida architecture reigns supreme in Seacrest, which can be seen in the wrap-around porches, white columns, pitched roofs and wood siding featured on most homes. Townhomes and condos can range from $500,000 to $1 million. Prices increase closer to the beach, ranging from $1 million to $4.75 million. Homes north of Scenic Highway 30A can range from $1 million to $6 million, while homes south of 30A that hug the coast can range from $6 million to nearly $18 million. "It's really interesting. You can have a property on the beach that's in the millions and the house across the street is half a million," Brown says. Beachfront estates that range from $8 million to $18 million often have anywhere from five to 10 bedrooms and an equal amount of bathrooms to maximize income as a short-term rental.
Many of the homes in Seacrest offer multiple stories with manicured yards.
