Students living in Paradis can attend R.J. Vial Elementary, which received an A-minus rating on Niche, and J.B. Martin Middle, with an A from Niche. At Hahnville High, with a B-plus from Niche, students can participate in a number of extracurriculars that range from a Literary Society to engineering and robotics. The student-teacher ratio at Hahnville High is 16-to-1.
The St. Charles Parish Library – Paradis Branch on Audubon Street is where residents can rent a book or two or use the computers or public Wi-Fi. The nearest hospital is St. Charles Parish Hospital, located on Paul Maillard Road. U.S. Highway 90 and Interstate 310 lead to New Orleans, which is about 30 miles away. I-310 will also take residents to the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, 17 miles away.
