“It’s a good neighborhood with pretty quick turnover,” says Riddle. “People get country living with city convenience.” The community features a market of single-family homes built in the last twenty years, ranging from $350,000 to $600,000. These are mostly mid-sized brick Craftsman-style homes and one-story ramblers with attached garages. Streets are grid-patterned and end in cul-de-sacs, and there are gated community options in the east end of the neighborhood, across Pearland Parkway. This park also allows access to the Clear Creek Trail, a paved multipurpose path that stretches south for five miles. There’s also the private Golfcrest Country Club four miles south, where members can tee off on the 18-hole championship course, swim laps at the pool or play tennis, pickleball and bocce on several courts.
