Public school students attend Philadelphia City schools. Kindergarteners raise butterflies in the classrooms at the Albert M. Greenfield School, which receives an overall B-plus from Niche. Benjamin Franklin High School is rated a C-minus on Niche and offers specialized courses through its career and technical education program. While public schools are an option, most Fitler Square students attend some of the city’s most prestigious private schools. Car commuters can follow Interstate 76 from the Walnut Street Bridge to access the Philadelphia International Airport in 10 miles or less.

Top-rated restaurants hidden in historic townhomes
Some of the best restaurants in Philly are tucked away in the historic buildings around Fitler Square. Locals rave about the perfectly crisp sourdough pizzas at Sally, an up-scale Italian restaurant on the corner of Spruce Street. More casual than Sally’s, Pizzata Pizzeria is a convenient place to pick up a pizza for family game nights. Hidden in a corner townhouse just outside Rittenhouse Square, Friday Saturday Sunday has been a staple in Fitler Square for decades. This local favorite offers one of the city’s top-rated bars and a seemingly endless tasting menu. Residents can pick up or have groceries delivered to their door at the South Square Supermarket. The Shops at Liberty Place is one of the nicest urban malls in the country and only a short walk from Fitler Square.
