Off the beaten path
Located just off the beaten path in Northeast Philadelphia, Torresdale feels more like a suburb as it sits on edge of Bucks County along the Delaware River. The neighborhood has leafy parks, rolling green golf courses and acres of woodland. “Torresdale is one of Philadelphia’s furthest points north, but residents still have all the amenities of the city. It’s less populated than the inner city, but at the same time, there’s easy access to Interstate 95 and the Torresdale train station,” says Debi Tomczuk, a Realtor with Keller Williams Bucks County South. “A few retail restaurants and condominiums along the river offer great views of all the river traffic such as barges and sailboats going by.”
