While the neighborhood has no rail system, the Luzerne County Transportation Authority (LCTA) provides public buses in Plains and surrounding areas. The Wilkes-Barre Scranton International Airport is about 11 miles north, but quick access to I-81 makes the commute relatively quick despite the distance.
