"Jack Carter Park is a huge draw for people that live around here," says Realtor Shannon Beitchman of Compass RE Texas, LLC. Beitchman is a Plano resident and has sold homes in the area since 2016. "It's one of my favorite parks in Plano. It offers access to the Jack Water Pool, which is its own waterpark with all sorts of amenities." The Jack Carter Pool features two pools, a lazy river, a splash pad and a surf simulator. Two water slides give visitors an exciting ride into the park's pools. The deep-water pool at the park features a diving platform and a rock climbing wall for the more adventurous. The park's northern end has a sand volleyball court, an accessible playground and ample green space. The Chisholm Trail and Bluebonnet Trail meander through the park, giving residents a space for hiking or running through nature.Legacy Drive Village and Salsa Tex-Mex dining

The shopping center also has ample service businesses and restaurants, such as Subway, a tailor and a veterinary clinic. However, shopping centers are scattered throughout the area, so locals have plenty of shopping options. Village Creek Plaza features an Oasis International Market, while Hunters Glen Crossing features a Tom Thumb. Locals head to Salsa Tex-Mex for dinner. This restaurant uses fresh local ingredients for authentic Tex-Mex dishes like brisket enchiladas and chimichangas. Locals enjoy the food along with the excellent service and the ice-cold margaritas.Navigating Dallas
