Liberty Park
Ranch-style homes with backyard pools minutes from downtown Plano
Liberty Park’s primary feature is its residences, which are traditional brick and paneled ranch-style homes set back on neat lots lined with oak and myrtle trees. Buyers can also find contemporary New Traditional houses throughout the neighborhood, with stone exteriors and front-gabled or flat roofs. Multi-family housing, including apartments and townhouses, is closer to the President George Bush Turnpike. Many of these homes are brand-new and include state-of-the-art kitchens and appliances.Bologna says most homes in the neighborhood have spacious yards. "You have a little more space, so people like this area a lot. You're not so close to your neighbor, and the houses aren't cookie-cutter," Bologna says. Many backyards in the community have in-ground pools, perfect for staying cool during the hot summers. Rear-entry garages are standard in the neighborhood, offering security and privacy for homebuyers. Sidewalks connect the lush green lawns, perfect for a morning jog or an evening stroll.
A traditional ranch-style house in Liberty Park will cost between $375,000 and $450,000—contemporary New Traditional homes list for around $575,000. The newer townhouses in the area usually cost $450,000 for two bedrooms and $500,000 for three bedrooms.
