Plymouth Meeting Mall and Metroplex Mall fill most shopping needs

No home is more than a few miles from the town’s bustling commercial activity. The heaviest shopping traffic can be found at Plymouth Meeting Mall, one of the area’s premier shopping destinations. “It’s really like a close second to King of Prussia Mall,” says Gregory Martire, a Realtor with Springer Realty Group. “It’s an epic place to shop.” For reference, King of Prussia Mall, which is just 8 miles away, is the biggest mall in Pennsylvania. Plymouth Meeting Mall has more than 70 stores and restaurants and an adjacent AMC movie theater. LEGOLAND Discovery Center Philadelphia is one of the mall’s biggest highlights. There’s also a Whole Foods, the largest one in the Philadelphia area. Metroplex Mall is just a 2-mile shot down the road. It features major retailers like Target, Best Buy, Barnes & Noble, and more. Those who prefer locally sourced produce can go to the market at Maple Acres Farm, a landmark in the community for more than a century.
