Suburban living just outside of Pooler
The planned community of Southbridge sits on the far west side of Savannah, just below the Pooler city limits. And according to Karin Carr, a Realtor with Real Broker who sells in Effingham and Chatham counties, some people have the misconception that living there is inconvenient. "It's a little tucked away, but it's not inaccessible. And I think that's its strength. Pooler is growing a lot, and there's a lot of construction and traffic, so what's nice about Southbridge is you're close enough to have access to everything there, but you don't have to deal with it every day," Carr says. "And then you're about 10 or 15 minutes from downtown Savannah, too, which is really convenient."
