A Port St. Lucie community full of amenities
Whispering Pines is a convenient Port St. Lucie neighborhood home to big box retailers, multiple schools and a bustling park known for its pickleball courts. And compared to other neighborhoods in the city, especially in the southwest region, it is one of the most convenient neighborhoods with easy access to Florida’s Turnpike. But people mainly move here because it offers affordable, charming homes on quiet, suburban streets. "It's an older neighborhood, but it's getting a facelift. There's a lot of new construction coming in, so you've got that mix of old and new houses," says Salomon Rincon, a Realtor with Masters Realty and a Port St. Lucie resident.
Older ranch-style and New Traditional homes, some new construction
Older homes here are mostly ranch-style from the 1980s with three bedrooms, priced between the low $200,000s and the high $300,000s. Four-bedroom New Traditional style homes from the 2000s are also available, with prices ranging from $400,000 to $600,000. Higher-priced options typically feature extensive renovations. New builds are cropping up throughout the neighborhood, featuring three or more bedrooms and high-end amenities. Prices for these homes vary widely. Those looking for something with less upkeep can find two- and three-bedroom condos in the $200,000 range.
In Whispering Pines, most of the homes have single-car garages.

Minsky Gym, an 8,000-square-foot gymnasium, is located next to the park and offers two indoor volleyball courts and one full-sized basketball court.
