"Not to mention, it's next door is Fat Cats." Fat Cats is a place to bowl, catch a flick and head to the arcade. All of these local attractions are within 5 miles of the villages.Gourmet food, casual eats and national retailers are nearby

"The villages," as Bermudez calls the community, has Southwestern-style homes with a median build year of 2004. Multiple builders led to variations among property styles, even if they are tract homes. Prices typically range from around $338,000 to about $720,000, but some homes with a solid golf course location enter the $800,000s. The manicured curb appeal is typical of a homeowners association-run community. Lots are spacious, and the golf courses' gently rolling hills are dotted with cottonwood trees. The CAP Index Crime Score here is 2 out of 10 versus the national average of 4.Near several highways, traffic stalls and noise are a reality
The main thoroughfare is South Rittenhouse Road. Arizona State Route 24, which ties into Arizona 202, is roughly 8 miles from the community's core. Traffic can be severe to the point of standstills in Queen Creek. "The farthest south you want to be is in these villages. The moment you start traveling south of Ocotillo Road off Ellsworth Road, it becomes highly congested," Bermudez says. She adds that the sounds of airplanes flying overhead can be a reality here, as Mesa Gateway Airport is less than 10 miles away.
