Suburban perks on the edge of Queens
According to the New York City real estate site Brick Underground, Cambria Heights has the second-best parking in Queens. That may not sound like much to an outsider, but in a city where people spend untold hours looking for a parking spot, it’s a big deal. The area likely enjoys this significant suburban perk in part because Long Island, land of residential living, is on the other side of the neighborhood’s eastern boundary.

Similar properties in need of significant work are priced around $500,000. In 2022, the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission designated two historic districts in the area, the 222nd Street Historic District and the Cambria Heights–227th Street Historic District.
