A planned district from the early aughts
One of Raleigh’s oldest planned suburban neighborhoods, Boylan Heights saw development begin in 1907. The streets here curve together, forming a modified grid that still maintains a natural feel. Mature trees line the blocks, and its common to see neighbors striking up a conversation on a walk around this peaceful suburban community. Today, Boylan Heights has features that any homebuyer can appreciate, from its historic properties to its suburban scale and proximity to jobs and retail in downtown Raleigh, only minutes away. It’s also close to two institutions of higher learning, North Carolina State University is just 2 miles west, and Shaw University is 2 miles east.
